很高興台灣又進了一款新的WDJ飼料

SofyDog提供試吃讓我很高興 一來我之前就知道這個品牌

二來恰恰是隻霹靂無敵挑食臭小狗 所以我長期在找好吃的新飼料

Lotus從2011年開始 就穩定的長駐在WDJ榜上

且是台灣唯二採用低溫烘焙的飼料 

低溫烘烤好處多多啊 借Lotus官網的圖片來用一下

烘焙的食物跟高溫擠壓的差異: (取自Lotus官網)

1.烘焙的方式能使用多兩倍的鮮肉去製成飼料

2.比較好吃: Lotus烘焙出來的飼料 香味直接來自於原料 

  高溫擠壓的餅乾比較硬 在製作時通常在最後才會在表面噴上油脂

  可以想像成外面香香的裡面硬硬乾乾的

3.壓力: Lotus是在正常的一大氣壓底下慢慢烘烤出來的

          口感像手作餅乾 用力壓會碎

          普通的飼料 製作環境約是2-3大氣壓力 所以中心很堅硬 不好消化

4.營養: 低溫烘焙為了保持食材的鮮度 雖然烘焙過程要花去3倍的時間

           但會比高溫高壓的方式多留住40%的維生素+20%的蛋白質

5.餵食量比較少: 一杯的Lotus差不多是4oz 普通飼料平均是6oz

                      一杯的熱量 Lotus:683.7kcal   大草原430kcal 

                      所以像恰恰這種挑食狗就很適合 吃不多但該有的熱量營養都到了

6.飼料的外型: 目前台灣能看到的飼料都是普通高溫高壓方式製作的

                   特色就圓圓扁扁硬硬外面油油的 咬的時候要比較用力

恰恰很討厭大顆的飼料

像NB的飼料不過就是稍微厚了一點 馬上被她列為拒吃名單

烘焙方式製作的飼料很可愛 會呈現錐狀

左邊的是Lotus 右邊是烘焙客 都是小顆粒

俯看的話 Lotus更可愛一點 是小花型狀的

打開飼料包 會有淡淡的穀物味道飄出來 很像餅乾那種溫溫感覺

完全沒有油味 (想聞油味請打開皇家飼料)

摸起來也沒有 不像普通飼料有些外觀上還有油油的小屑屑

我偷吃了一顆 味道非常奇妙 健康得不得了......

有很淡的雜糧餅乾的感覺 認真來說味道並不濃郁 

(其他品牌的我沒有吃過)

嗜口性5顆星 恰恰吃過WDJ差不多30種不同口味的飼料 

主動且吃掉滿手的大概就5種 Lotus是其中之一 

(其他成份普通的牌子不列入計算 都不讓她吃了何必硬要算呢)

看她吃東西太難得 我還特別拍了影片

那種吃完舔嘴巴露出 "ㄟㄟㄟ我還要" 的表情 實在太難得﹨(╯▽╰)∕

建議餵食量

食用兩星期的結果 

淚痕沒有明顯變化 (之前吃卡比試用包的時候好像有變多一點)

改吃Lotus後變回平常那種兩三天清一次的量

大便非常漂亮 比較濕潤有型 這是最大的變化

恰恰喝水量正常偏少 所以大便會偏乾一點點 (就紋路比較多)

Lotus能讓恰恰完整消化 所以大便表面比較水潤

揀起來時也不會沾在尿布墊上 超棒的

The ninth ingredient is soybean oil which is red flagged here only due to its rumored (yet unlikely) link to canine food allergies.
However, since soybean oil is high in omega-6 fatty acids and contains no omega-3’s, it’s considered less nutritious than flaxseed oil or a named animal fat.
The next ingredient is pea fiber , a mixture of both soluble and insoluble dietary fiber derived from pea hulls.
Aside from the usual benefits of fiber, this agricultural by-product provides no nutritional value to a dog.
First, brewers yeast can be a controversial item. Although it’s a by-product of the beer making process, this ingredient is rich in minerals and other healthy nutrients.
Fans believe yeast repels fleas and supports the immune system.
Critics argue yeast ingredients can be linked to allergies. This may be true, but (like all allergies) only if your particular dog is allergic to the yeast itself.
In addition, a vocal minority insists yeast can increase the risk of developing the life-threatening condition known as bloat. However, this is a claim we’ve not been able to scientifically verify.
In any case, unless your dog is specifically allergic to it, yeast can still be considered a nutritious additive.
What’s more noteworthy here is that brewers yeast contains about48% protein, a factor that must be considered when judging the actual meat content of this dog food.
In addition, garlic can be a controversial item. Although most experts favor the ingredient for its numerous health benefits, garlic (in rare cases) has been linked to Heinz body anemia in dogs.1
However, the limited professional literature we surveyed providedno definitive warnings regarding the use of garlic — especially when used in small amounts (as it likely is here).
